I just finished a remarkable short story by Yann Martel--author of Life of Pi--called
Manners of Dying. A story broken up into nine sections,
Manners of Dying is an epistolary tale featuring letters from the Warden of Cantos Correctional Institution to the mother of a recently executed prisoner. Each section is a different version of the events of the last day of her son. One word: remarkable.
